Back‑flush instructions

1. Insert a blind filter into the portafilter and add up to ½ teaspoon (≈ 3 g) of BIO Cafiza powder.

2. Lock the portafilter into the group head. Run the brew cycle for 10 seconds, then pause for 10 seconds. Repeat this on/off sequence five times.

3. Remove the portafilter, activate the brew cycle, and rinse the portafilter under the water stream.

4. Re‑insert the portafilter with no cleaning powder. Run the brew cycle for 10 seconds, pause for 10 seconds, and repeat five times to flush the system.

5. Replace the blind filter with a regular basket, pull one espresso shot to remove any remaining cleaner.

6. Discard that shot—do not drink it. The machine is now ready for use.
